Following a successful first edition late last year, the national government recently launched a new edition of the PreViaje Plan with extensive benefits for traveling through Argentina starting next November. Here is everything you need to know.

What is it?

It is a program to incentivize Argentine tourism that grants credits for 50% of tourist purchases made until December 31, 2020, for travel in 2022.

What are the requirements?

The benefit can be accessed by any individual through their CUIT or CUIL, over 18 years of age, who complies with all the required identity verification steps and declares a residence in the Republic of Argentina. Only Type B invoices are issued. Legal entities (companies) do not participate in the benefit.

What can I buy at Wegolf?

The benefit applies to any purchase invoice issued before December 31, 2021, for any tourist service to be provided during 2021, in Argentina, for Argentines (with ID and residence in Argentina).

What can I use my credit for?

The credit can be used anywhere in Argentina, regardless of where you were going. It is applicable to all tourist services included in the national tourism law (Law 25.997). The most common are restaurants, leisure activities, shops, accommodation, domestic air tickets, travel agencies, car rentals, regional products, etc.
 

When can I use the credit?

The credit will be valid for use from the date of your trip and until the end of 2022. It can be used during the trip or later, in any place in Argentina.

How do I participate?

By making one or more purchases before December 31, 2021, and uploading your purchase invoices to www.previaje.gob.ar

How do I get the credit?

After uploading your invoices to www.previaje.gob.ar, the Ministry of Tourism will send you an e-mail 15 days before your trip to confirm that it has not been canceled.

Once confirmed, the credit will be delivered through the BNA+ electronic wallet application to use on your cell phone, and/or you will receive a plastic card preloaded with the credit.

What are the maximum or minimum limits? 

The benefit is activated with minimum purchases of 10,000 pesos only at authorized agencies like Wegolf. You can upload several invoices that total 10,000 pesos or more, but no invoice can be less than 1,000 pesos. The maximum purchase amount is 200,000 pesos per person, as the reimbursement limit (50%) is 100,000 pesos per person.

And can they be paid in installments?

Yes. The Ahora12 installment program is active. Therefore, at authorized merchants like Wegolf, you can buy packages in fixed installments in pesos, with 6, 12, or 18 installments.

How does it end up working in practice with a Wegolf Getaway, as an example?
Next Thursday, November 11, a new edition of our Open Chapelco begins in San Martín de los Andes. It is a 3-round individual stableford tournament at Chapelco Golf & Resort, with 3 nights including breakfast at the luxurious Loi Suites (5 stars). That program costs 56,496 pesos.

Suppose you make the purchase on August 28 and choose to pay with Ahora 12. You will pay 12 fixed installments in pesos of 4,708 pesos. The day your trip begins (November 11), the government will credit you through the BNA+ app or a physical card the REIMBURSEMENT OF 28,248 pesos.

You can use those pesos in any merchant in the country, until December 31, 2022, in restaurants, leisure activities, shops, accommodation, domestic air tickets, travel agencies, car rentals, regional products, etc. (tourist services included in the national tourism law (Law 25.997)).
