The stroke-game rules will be applicable and the official rules of the R&A will be enforced. Each player plays with 100% of the game handicap according to the course and the starting point established by the organizing committee.

Stableford is a scoring system in which points are awarded according to the number of strokes taken at each hole, whereby a hole completed in one stroke over par (net) counts as one point, a hole completed in level par (net) counts as two points, etc.

• Bogey: 1 point • Par: 2 pts. • Birdie: 3 pts. • Eagle: 4pts. • Albatross: 5 pts. • Double bogey or more: zero Points, it is marked with an x, and the ball is lifted.

The champions in each category of the ARGENTINA INVITATIONAL will be the players who have obtained the HIGHEST number of points throughout all 4 rounds.

The Golf

Jockey Golf Club Argentino

  • The Jockey Club, designed by the renowned architect Allister Mackenzie, was founded in 1882 by one of the first Presidents of our country: Carlos Pellegrini. Since then, every Argentine President automatically becomes a member  of this prestigious club. In 2005 Golf Digest ranked its Red Course in their top 100. The Jockey Club has two courses of 18 holes each, both of which demand great shot-making and great approaches to the green to be able to score well. With slight mounds throughout the layout of the courses and slick greens, good strategy is required in every hole.

Pilará

  • This is the first "Signature Design" built by Jack Nicklaus Design studio in South America, which implied a large personal commitment from Jack himself throughout the entire process; from the master plan, to the construction and its inauguration. Laying over 76 hectares of beautiful land, this course of modern design has been perfectly adapted to the original field, achieving the goal of being a demanding course for scratches, but very enjoyable for less experienced golfers.  Its yardage goes form 5083 to 7126, counts with 76 bunkers and 8 of its holes are protected with water hazzards. As shown in the pictures, the slopes on fairways and greeens determined its character

Nordelta Golf Club

Born to host the most important golf tournaments in the region, this challenging layout par 72 of 7278 yards offers the typical characteristics of a Nicklaus design. Waste hazards, big lagoons and multiple bunkers protecting the landing areas will require accurate shots and patience for achieving a decent score. Four sets of tees can guarantee playable conditions for golfers of every skill. Its modern greens are very fast and hard to read. The club offers international first level amenities.

Olivos Golf Club

  • The Olivos GC, designed by Luther Koontz (shaper of Mr Alister Mackenzie), is one of the best courses in the region, ranked by Golf Digest within the top 100 courses around the world. This golf course hosts the Argentine Masters Tournament each year. With 27 holes of parkland design, tough par 4s with dog legs in both directions, this course requires both draws and fades from the tee, and a precise interpretation of the wind for its approaches. The maintenance is pristine like most of the greatest venues in the world.
