The proposal

Argentina is an experience for all the senses. A capital city that never sleeps, an asado that lasts all afternoon, a glass of Malbec, incredibly diverse landscapes, and the opportunity to discover multiple destinations in a single trip. And right in the middle of it all, some of the finest golf courses in South America.

In March 2027, we invite you to experience Argentina the way the locals do: explore Buenos Aires, its neighborhoods, cafés and culinary scene; enjoy an unforgettable tango evening; and spend a day in the countryside at a traditional estancia, complete with an authentic Argentine asado and local wine. And, of course, play three of the country's outstanding golf courses: Buenos Aires Golf Club, host venue of the 2000 World Cup of Golf, Pilar Golf, and Nordelta Golf Club, designed by Jack Nicklaus.

The package includes 6 nights of accommodation in Buenos Aires, 3 rounds of golf, transportation to and from the golf courses, a dinner with tango show, a countryside estancia experience for non-golfing companions, welcome and farewell cocktails, and the support of the Wegolf team throughout your stay.

If you would like to extend your trip, the rest of Argentina is just a flight away: the vineyards of Mendoza, the lakes of Bariloche, the glaciers of El Calafate, or the spectacular Iguazú Falls.

The Tournament

The tournament is played in individual stableford format (by points) over 54 holes.

The players can participate with a maximum handicap index of 30.0. The maximum limit for registration is a handicap index of 33.0 (they will play with a 30.0 handicap).

The stroke-game rules will be applicable and the official rules of the R&A will be enforced. Each player plays with 100% of the game handicap according to the course and the starting point established by the organizing committee.

Stableford is a scoring system in which points are awarded according to the number of strokes taken at each hole, whereby a hole completed in one stroke over par (net) counts as one point, a hole completed in level par (net) counts as two points, etc.

• Bogey: 1 point • Par: 2 pts. • Birdie: 3 pts. • Eagle: 4pts. • Albatross: 5 pts. • Double bogey or more: zero Points, it is marked with an x, and the ball is lifted.

The champions in each category of the ARGENTINA INVITATIONAL will be the players who have obtained the HIGHEST number of points throughout all 4 rounds.

  • The Buenos Aires GC opened in 1994 and was the host of the EMC Golf World Cup in 2000, when the United States Team defeated in the last round the argentine team. This 7000 yards, par 72 course designed by Robert Von Hagge is full of water and bunkers with excellent greens and marvelous maintenance. In 2005 Golf Digest ranked BAGC among its top 100 courses.

Nordelta Golf Club

Born to host the most important golf tournaments in the region, this challenging layout par 72 of 7278 yards offers the typical characteristics of a Nicklaus design. Waste hazards, big lagoons and multiple bunkers protecting the landing areas will require accurate shots and patience for achieving a decent score. Four sets of tees can guarantee playable conditions for golfers of every skill. Its modern greens are very fast and hard to read. The club offers international first level amenities.

A magnificent course, inaugurated in 1992 and designed by the Ronald Fream Group, Pilar Golf is located about 60 kilometers north of Buenos Aires. It features 27 holes and offers 5-star international services, excellent maintenance conditions, and carts with GPS. Its "championship" design has hosted major events, including the Argentine Open, multiple editions of the Women’s Amateur Latin America, and the inaugural edition of the Latin America Amateur Championship. Additionally, it is the headquarters of the Argentine Golf Association offices.

La Ventana Tango Show

  • Excellent option to see one of the best and most traditional Tango shows that the city has to offer. You will visit a historic tenement house that has been restored and is located in the neighbourhood of San Telmo: the cradle of tango par excellence. You will be able to enjoy an excellent gastronomy and a wine cellar of Argentinean wines, besides contemplating a tango and folklore show made up of 32 artists: two orchestras, four couples of dancers, two singers, highland music and a boleadora show.

Gaucho Party

The estancia is located in Campana, Buenos Aires. It has an extension of 1300 hectares, most of the land is dedicated to agricultural exploitation, besides the tourist activity. During the day you can go for rides in carts through the countryside, visit the old part of the estancia, which is a Spanish colonial museum, visit the chapel of the estancia. There are also several shows of different dances, tango and folklore with malambo de boleadoras, gaucho shows with an exhibition of tropillas, ring races and cuadreras.

More than 70 golfers from 6 Latin American countries starred in the 11th edition of the Argentina Invitational, which took place from March 10th to 16th at 4 different golf courses in Buenos Aires. The champions of this edition were: Cat A: Facundo Villa (Uruguay), Cat B: Luiz Felipe Schmidt (Brazil), Cat C: Luis Sanchez (Colombia).

In March 2023, the 10th edition of the Argentina Invitational was held in Buenos Aires, and the champions were Rafael García from Colombia with 140 points, champion of category A (up to 11.9), Jesús Ospina from Colombia winner of category B (12 to 17.9) with 157 points and Antonio Pimpao from Brazil champion of category C (18 to 36) with 158 points.

Booking and Cancellation

Payment and Reservation: USD 1.000 must be paid to confirm participation, the remaining due by December 20th, 2026.

Cancellation Policy: Until December 20th: 10% penalty*, from december 20th to January 17th: 40% penalty*, from February 18th onwards: 100% penalty* (NO SHOW)
