Marco Simone Golf & Country Club: Host of the 2023 Ryder Cup
For the third time in history, the Ryder Cup is played on continental European soil. Following Valderrama (1997) and Le Golf National (2018), Marco Simone welcomes the duel between USA and Europe.

Located on the outskirts of Rome, the course was redesigned by European Tour Designs for this week. While Rome isn't a traditional golf powerhouse, the Ryder Cup generates an economic impact of nearly $250 million.
The course features several "risk-reward" holes. The back nine has two short par-4s (11 and 16) reachable with a driver. The 18th is a fun par-5 where many will reach the green in two strokes, likely becoming a key hole for the match definitions.
Europe has won 4 of the last 6 editions. With the home advantage and an incredibly strong roster, can they win back the trophy?
