"I had the opportunity to play the Hero World Challenge twice: once at Isleworth and once at Albany. The first tournament I played was in 2014, during one of Tiger Woods’ comebacks. The guy was unstoppable, to the point that at the players’ dinner they suggested not even getting close to him. I saw him at that time leaving his club’s restaurant surrounded by five bodyguards. Something completely paranoid. This is very different from the guy I saw in Albany years later after his major setback and comeback. He was a different person, to the point that I have a photo with him on my WhatsApp. I have never seen such a transformation from someone so unfriendly to a person willing to talk and take pictures with people."

"When I played the first tournament, the Pro-Am is played with spectators, and I experienced what it means to play inside the ropes in a PGA Tour event. You are followed by police. It is incredible. People don’t know whether you are a nobody like me or Adam Scott."

"It is such a strong experience that at one point, on hole 14, I checked my watch to see whether it was morning or afternoon. I have never in my life, not even in my job, had the level of concentration that context forces on you: playing with crowds, police, television, and Tiger on the course."

"My experience with Koepka was unpleasant. He told us that golf was boring, that he liked American football, and that he played golf for money. Then we had dinner together and during the entire meal Koepka sat with his back to us. It was the second time this happened to me; the first was with Néstor Kirchner."

"I have met many important people. I have never seen anything like Tiger. I will make a comparison. I have always been struck by how people treated two figures: Arnold Palmer and Roberto De Vicenzo. Tiger is different. He has monumental charisma."

He must have 10 Ferraris in his garage, and also Lamborghinis. He lives in Orlando, next to Isleworth. A very lovable character."
