Sebastián Pugawko, Viviana Laurente, Mía Yaya, and Federico Carbonaro will seek the title once again in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

This Sunday, the four names that will make up the Argentine team in the next edition of the Latin American Golf TV Championship presented by Golf Channel Latin America were confirmed. The event will be played from November 1 to 6 at the Iberostar Bávaro Golf Club in the Dominican Republic.

The Argentine National Final was held at the Club Campos de Golf Las Praderas de Luján, played over 36 holes with nearly 130 golfers from all over the country. In the category up to 9.0 index, the winner was Viviana Laurente from Club Sirio Libanés de Pergamino, Buenos Aires. With rounds of 73 and 73 (+2), she won by two strokes over Santiago Salvatierra and Nicolás Pizzolante. 

In the 9.1 to 16.0 category, another lady took the victory. In this case, it was 12-year-old Mía Yaya. The player from Concordia Golf Club, Entre Ríos, surprised with scores of 71 and 65 (-8) to secure a comfortable win.

Federico Carbonara, also from Concordia, was the winner of the 16.1 to 24.0 category. His rounds of 70 and 66 (-8) allowed him to win by four strokes.

Sebastián Pugawko will be the fourth player to represent the Argentine team. He qualified as the winner of the Argentine Pre-Senior Ranking. This ranking concluded a week ago with the Mid-Amateur, Pre-Senior, and Senior Argentine Championship. The player from Club de Campo La Martona won the Pre-Senior category to crown a dream year.

Pugawko took first place in eight of the nine stages of the 2020/21 Argentine Pre-Senior Ranking.
