The proposal
The Miami Championship at Doral is our last major tournament in the year. Trump National Doral will held this competition that brings together players from all over the region in a Resort that is an icon for golfers in Latin America.
Miami Championship at Doral is the final instance of the Plus Golf Tour, a 7 stages qualifying Tour played in Colombia (6) and Mexico (1) in which the winners of each stage are invited to Doral.
The famous Blue Monster -home for many years of the PGA Tour and currently home to a LIV Golf event- will be the course for the last round of the Miami Championship at Doral.

The Tournament

The Golf
The Red Tiger - Trump National Doral
After undergoing a complete redesign performed by Gil Hanse, the course is now significantly longer, and features strategically placed deep bunkers, long fairways, undulating greens, deep Bermuda rough and a challenging assortment of water hazards. It’s a challenging course for the average golfer and a surprising test for the expert player. The famous 18th hole is ranked as one of the most difficult on the PGA TOUR.
The Golden Palm - Trump National Doral
This is the previously called “Gold Course” which was designed in 1967 by Robert von Hagge and redesigned by Gil Hans in 2015. It is a typical Florida layout, with narrow fairways and water hazards on 16 of its 18 holes. Due to its great competitive nature, the PGA Tour hosts the Latin America PGA TOUR closing championship each year.
The Blue Monster - Trump National Doral
Known worldwide for historically hosting the Cadillac Championship (WGC), the famous Blue Monster has always been considered one of the 5 most difficult courses on the Tour. Under the direction of Gil Hanse it has undergone a complete redesign and finally reopened in 2014. Is one of the best courses in Florida with unique bunkers and exceptional course conditions.
Accommodation
This Miami, Florida resort features an outdoor pool, 4 PGA-approved golf courses and 3 restaurants. All rooms at the Doral Trump National Resort have a balcony, a 55-inch flat-screen TV, a minibar, and a Nespresso® coffee machine. They also offer scented pillows and views of the garden or golf course.
Additional Information
The first player that achieves a "hole in one" in a Par 3 determined by the Championship Committee, will receive a special prize consisting of a 2023 model Porsche Macan car.

The first edition of the championship was contested at the Trump National Doral Miami over 54 holes with the final showdown on the legendary Blue Monster, and the winners, all from Colombia, were:
