The proposal

From May 31–june 6, 2027, live a full week in the unmatched luxury of Casa de Campo Resort & Villas, combining world-class golf with breathtaking scenery, top-tier dining, and unforgettable moments alongside your best golf partner.

Four tournament rounds in fourball format across the two most iconic courses in the Caribbean, both designed by Pete Dye: two rounds on the renovated Teeth of the Dog (#1 in the Caribbean, #27 in the world, with 7 holes over the sea) and two on the challenging Dye Fore, with its stunning views of the Chavón River.

Six nights, all meals on a Full Board basis, a golf cart per room throughout your stay, transfers, welcome cocktail, awards dinner, and Welcome Kit. Everything taken care of.

The Tournament

The tournament is a 72-hole stroke play competition in the Fourball Best Ball format (also known as "American Four Ball" or "doubles"), where the team must specify which player records the score for each hole.

The players can participate with a maximum handicap index of 30.0. The maximum limit for registration is a handicap index of 33.0 (they will play with a 30.0 handicap). The total handicap index of the team cannot exceed a cumulative 54.0 between the two players.The rules of stroke play apply, and the tournament will be played according to the official R&A rules in force.

There are 4 categories established according to the team's Handicap Index (this is based on the sum of both players' handicap indexes). Example: up to 24, 25 to 35, 35 to the maximum.

Wegolf and Casa de Campo Resort & Villas will invite the team with the best overall net score (from all categories), covering their land expenses to participate in the 2028 edition. If the winning team has already won in a previous edition, the invitation will go to the second-best overall net score. A team CANNOT be invited by Wegolf & Casa de Campo Resort & Villas more than once.

Dye Fore

  • Designed by Pete Dye, this is Casa de Campo's resort second course.
  • This 27-hole golf course has 9 scenic cliff-side holes overlooking the Chavón River, and the Marinas on the Caribbean sea.
  • The challenging 7,714yds from the black tees offer a good adventure for low handicap players looking for a thrill.

Santiago Mórtola and Alejo Gascón, who had qualified by winning the Argentine National Final, secured this 3rd edition thanks to their rounds of 65, 64, 66, and 64 (-29) after an automatic tiebreaker with last year's champions, Sergio Amoroso and David Morel, who finished in 2nd place.

Sergio Amoroso and David Morel from Argentina, who had finished in 2nd place in the 2022 edition, returned for more in 2023 and kept the Best Overall Net Score with rounds 67,65,56 and 59 for a total of (-41), achieving a wide advantage over the second, the couple made up of the Chileans Irena Ibieta and Antonio Ortiz

109 golfers from 9 Latin American countries (and more than 50 companions) were part of the 1st edition of Fourball Americas Casa de Campo that took place from May 9 to 14 at the Casa de Campo Resort & Villas

The couple made up of the Argentines Matías Etcheverry and Julio Pratesi were left with the Lowest Score with 266 shots (-29) and were invited for the 2nd edition of the championship.

Cancellation Policy: From reservation until March 27: 10%. March 27 to April 2: 30%. April 3 onwards there will be no refund, losing 100% of what was paid. In all cases it is calculated on the total of the contracted program.
