Golf Resort

This legendary Resort opened in the 1960s and ever since has been frequented by celebrities and golf fans from all over the world. The prestigious 800-acre resort boasts four championship golf courses and various recreational amenities.

The resort was purchased by Donald J. Trump in 2012. And thereafter, underwent an ambitious remodeling project with an investment valued at approximately USD250 million. Gil Hanse, one of the most resonant architects of the moment, was given the task of redesigning the golfing facilities and courses. This Doral golf resort, is considered one of Florida’s best golf destinations and is home to four uniquely designed PGA courses including the iconic Blue Monster Course. And also features the most recent course transformations of: The Red Tiger, The Golden Palm and The Silver Fox.

The Golf

The Red Tiger - Trump National Doral

After undergoing a complete redesign performed by Gil Hanse, the course is now significantly longer, and features strategically placed deep bunkers, long fairways, undulating greens, deep Bermuda rough and a challenging assortment of water hazards. It’s a challenging course for the average golfer and a surprising test for the expert player. The famous 18th hole is ranked as one of the most difficult on the PGA TOUR.

The Golden Palm - Trump National Doral

This is the previously called “Gold Course” which was designed in 1967 by Robert von Hagge and redesigned by Gil Hans in 2015. It is a typical Florida layout, with narrow fairways and water hazards on 16 of its 18 holes. Due to its great competitive nature, the PGA Tour hosts the Latin America PGA TOUR closing championship each year.

The Blue Monster - Trump National Doral

Known worldwide for historically hosting the Cadillac Championship (WGC), the famous Blue Monster has always been considered one of the 5 most difficult courses on the Tour. Under the direction of Gil Hanse it has undergone a complete redesign and finally reopened in 2014. Is one of the best courses in Florida with unique bunkers and exceptional course conditions.
