The 4th edition of the most important doubles championship in the region will take place from May 5th to 11th, 2025 (6 nights), playing for the first time on the combination of two of the Resort's courses in a unique setting such as Casa de Campo: Dye Fore (Lagos & Chavón) and Marina - La Romana CC (new 9).

The Tournament

The tournament is a 72-hole stroke play competition in the Fourball Best Ball format (also known as "American Four Ball" or "doubles"), where the team must specify which player records the score for each hole.

Players can participate with a maximum handicap index of 32.0. The combined handicap indexes of the team must not exceed 54.0 between the two players.

The rules of stroke play apply, and the tournament will be played according to the official R&A rules in force.

There are 4 categories established according to the team's Handicap Index (this is based on the sum of both players' handicap indexes). Example: up to 24, 25 to 35, 35 to the maximum.

The following prizes will be awarded:

• - Winner of the best overall net score (from all categories) over 72 holes.
• - Winner of the best Gross score in category A over 72 holes (to be eligible for this prize, both players on the team must play from the blue tees).
• - First and second places in each net category over 72 holes.
• - Best overall scores on each course or combination of courses. That is, the best net score over two days of play at Dye Fore, and the best net score over two days of play at Marina / La Romana CC. (Non-cumulative prizes)
• - Best senior teams in each category (teams where both members are over 50 years old).
• - Best net score among "mixed" teams (teams made up of players of different genders).
• - Best net scores in women's teams.
• - Family Cup. Best net score for a team with a blood relationship (mother-son, father-son, siblings).
• - Wegolf and Casa de Campo Resort & Villas will invite the team with the best overall net score (from all categories), covering their land expenses to participate in the 2026 edition. If the winning team has already won in a previous edition, the invitation will go to the second-best overall net score. A team CANNOT be invited by Wegolf & Casa de Campo Resort & Villas more than once.

• Designed by Pete Dye, this is Casa de Campo's resort second course.
• This 27-hole golf course has 9 scenic cliff-side holes overlooking the Chavón River, and the Marinas on the Caribbean sea.
• The challenging 7,714yds from the black tees offer a good adventure for low handicap players looking for a thrill.

La Romana CC (Casa de Campo)

La Romana Country Club, located in the heart of Casa de Campo, is a private club that offers a unique golf course designed by Pete Dye, maintained to an outstanding level of perfection.

Completed in 1990, La Romana Country Club, in a links-style design, traverses the hills, adjacent to Pete Dye's famous golf course, Teeth of the Dog. The course features open fairways with large tees and contoured greens.

2024

Santiago Mórtola and Alejo Gascón, who had qualified by winning the Argentine National Final, secured this 3rd edition thanks to their rounds of 65, 64, 66, and 64 (-29) after an automatic tiebreaker with last year's champions, Sergio Amoroso and David Morel, who finished in 2nd place.

Fourball Américas Casa de Campo 2023

Sergio Amoroso and David Morel from Argentina, who had finished in 2nd place in the 2022 edition, returned for more in 2023 and kept the Best Overall Net Score with rounds 67,65,56 and 59 for a total of (-41), achieving a wide advantage over the second, the couple made up of the Chileans Irena Ibieta and Antonio Ortiz

Fourball Américas Casa de Campo 2022

109 golfers from 9 Latin American countries (and more than 50 companions) were part of the 1st edition of Fourball Americas Casa de Campo that took place from May 9 to 14 at the Casa de Campo Resort & Villas

The couple made up of the Argentines Matías Etcheverry and Julio Pratesi were left with the Lowest Score with 266 shots (-29) and were invited for the 2nd edition of the championship.

Altos de Chavón

It is a replica of a 16th century Mediterranean town in the heart of the Dominican Republic. Meticulously designed by the Dominican architect José Antonio Caro, and the expert Italian designer and cinematographer Roberto Coppa. The town has an archaeological museum, the Church of San Estanislao, a 5,000-seat amphitheater, and captivating views of the Chavón River and the Caribbean Sea.

Minitas Beach

It's conveniently located right in the middle of everything, so you don't have to walk too far to enjoy some sun and sand. There is a wide variety of water sports such as snorkeling, pedaling and kayaking, to enjoying a relaxing massage in the open-air pavilion.

Booking and Cancellation

Payment and reservation: 30% at the time of confirming the reservation, the remaining 70% on Thursday, March 27 2025

Cancellation Policy: From reservation until March 27: 10%. March 28 to April 3: 30%. April 4 onwards there will be no refund, losing 100% of what was paid. In all cases it is calculated on the total of the contracted program.
