Description
On the Silver Coast, one hour from Lisbon, the tourist and residential complex of West Cliffs has two 18-hole golf courses. The first one, which bears the name of the resort, is designed by Cynthia Dye (Pete's niece) and settles naturally into the landscape, using sustainable criteria both in its design and maintenance. The links-style course has views of the Atlantic Ocean from all of its holes, and while lengths are not considerable, driving the ball out of the fairway boundaries means quite for sure a penalty stroke.
Signature Hole
The final hole, a 411-yard par 4 with an opening shot heading off an elevated tee above native vegetation, and a second shot on to a green sheltered by a water hazard, is a great way to conclude.
