Description

In 1992 Jack Nicklaus raised the flag by opening Arroyo and Mountain, the first 18 holes of the complex. In 1999 Ocean was opened to combine one of the best 27-hole courses in Latin America, due to its quality and variety among the 3. Golf here is not only good for the variety and the possibility of playing 3 different courses, but also for the exceptional views of the Sea of Cortez and maintenance that is a trademark of Troon Golf. Palmilla is a MUST in Los Cabos and if possible more than one round.

Signature Hole

Hole 3 / Par 4 / 458 yds. One of the classic photos of Palmilla. A tremendous par 4 downhill towards the ocean with a green well protected against the corner between the bunker and the beach, plus hills that make the game around the green very difficult. Placing the ball on the left side with the drive is key to being able to have a more accessible second shot.

Wegolf Insider Tip

Hurricane Odile on 9/15/2014 destroyed the irrigation system and the One & Only Hotel, so it was closed for remodeling and the course too, since without irrigation its impeccable condition could not be maintained. That is why we were not able to play it in the December 2014 Fam, although we have been able to go through it in its entirety and the feeling is that we are facing a great course, and with many different options. Generous from the tee almost always, around the green we saw that the secret of the score is there.

The good, The Bad

Variety. The possibility of combining courses makes it even more entertaining.
Distances between greens and tees. But the scenery makes up for it, a great golf course.
