Description

Lying close to the most westerly point on the European continent, on the Estoril coast, the par 72 Arthur Hills design course has a quite unique combination of links-style and forest. The lands belonging to the Champalimaud family were reconverted, with deep respect for its environment, being part of the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park. With views of the mountains and the Atlantic Ocean, the wind is usually present in this course that has hosted 4 Portuguese Opens.

Signature Hole

Signature hole is the par 3 14th, which although having only 155 yards, gives the impression of being longer, as it is necessary to carry over a sand ravine.

Wegolf Insider Tip

Ideal for combining golf plus a tour of the Natural Park, along with its beaches, fishing villages, and palaces.

The good, The Bad

An enjoyable course for all skills.
Its links and tree style course might be quite unattractive for some golfers.
