Description
Originally called Hope Plantation Golf Course, Kiawah Island Resort acquired it in 1997. Designed by Clyde Johnston, a renowned local architect, the course blends two distinct styles: the first Scottish-style holes and the American-style back nine. With rolling terrain, maritime forests, and marshy areas, the course provides entertainment and variety.
Signature Hole
With a magnificent view over Haulover Creek, the par 4 18th hole is a great closing hole. Scenic and with danger on both sides, it will test the mettle of every player.
Wegolf Insider Tip
Ask your partner for a photograph of your tee shot on the 18th tee.

The good, The Bad
The possibility of playing two different courses in one.
Perhaps a bit far from the imaginary of an ideal homogeneous design.
