Description
Harbour Town Golf Links is one of the most beautiful courses in South Carolina, with Pete Dye and Jack Nicklaus as its designers it comes as no surprise. The course is an annual host on the PGA Tour with the Heritage Tournament and has collected numerous awards over the years. In 2010 Golf Digest rated it as the 13th best course in the USA and in a survey conducted by the PGA Tour professionals, it was rated as the 2nd best course in America. Located within the Sea Pines Plantation on Hilton Head Island in Beaufort County the course has narrow fairways with overhanging pine trees and oaks, it is not just the sea you need to watch out for as the rough here can be just as punishing. The one blessing if you are not playing as well as you would like is the beautiful scenery to admire throughout your round.
Signature Hole
The par-4 18th hole is a 472 yard hole, considered one of the most feared in all of golf, particularly when the wind is blowing off Calibogue Sound.
