Description
The contemporary design by Clive Clark boasts panoramic views of the Bay of Forth, holes that appeal to strategic decisions, and plenty of variety. The course projected on a flat surface recreates dunes, undulations, and height variation to bring diversity to the design and giving the sensation of being a course that has always been there. Wide fairways, greens with a lot of movement, and bunkers of all sort: pot bunkers, waste areas, and others with irregular shapes.
Signature Hole
The most memorable hole is the short par 4 at 17. A stone wall cuts along the line of play, and a difficult-to-read green crowns the hole. The concrete chances of a birdie can easily be transformed into a double bogey.
