Description
The island of Kiawah, on the eastern margin of the State of South Carolina, hides much beauty as well as a strong connection with golf. In 1976 Gary Player designed the golf course that would accompany luxurious residences and the first hotel on the island. The course designed by the legendary "black knight" is located on the south of the island, among marshes, birds and crocodiles; and although it does not have ocean views, it incorporates the Kiawah River into its layout.
Signature Hole
Hole 6 is a 180-yard par 3 that requires flying over a marshy area that may be covered by water depending on the level of the Kiawah River. Except for a small safe area on the right, anything that does not make it the distance to the green will be trapped by the hazard.
