Description
It is known as the Pebble Beach of Baja California. More rugged land than in Monterey, but also it's really close to the sea, which gives it a touch of similarity to the jewel that has hosted the US Open on several occasions. Created in 1994 and with a piece of land that is very difficult to match, close to the Sheraton Hotel in Cabo San Lucas, the combination of mountains, desert and sea make it visually very striking for the player, especially in the golf carts drive from the green to the next tee. In 2010 the Club transformed its par 3 holes 6-7 into two spectacular par 3s against the sea that make them the most visually striking that the course offers.
Signature Hole
17th Hole/ Par 3 / 178 yards:
With the green on a large rock against the sea and forced to arrive from the air, the shot and the moment of the turn in which it appears make it perhaps the most demanding of the course. The place where the tee is in itself is very nice, which completes a great golf hole.
Wegolf Insider Tip
Cabo del Sol Cove Club is a course that deserves to be played at least twice, since being demanding the first time can leave you wanting more. The spectacular views, the presence of the sea and the very good speed of the greens make it one of those courses to which one always wants to return.
And as for the game, every mistake is paid. It is very important to keep the ball in play and ruff on the right side. We have been in different seasons of the year and it was always in perfect condition.
