Description

The third championship course at St Andrews is regarded as the most challenging of all. Originally built as a 12-hole women's and beginner's course, it was redesigned in 1988 by Donald Steel. Projected onto a narrow piece of land between the New Course and the sea, its name comes from a tribute to Queen Victoria's Jubilee diamond.

Signature Hole

The “steel gem” is the 345-yard par 4 on the 15th hole. On the right, a dune accompanies the entire length of the fairway, generating a semi-blind shot towards the green. Any tee shot to the right or left can mean a big headache.

Wegolf Insider Tip
