Description
In 1962, Dick Wilson designed Blue Monster and Greenbrier, one year before that he had built this MONSTER of a golf course, playing 7.381 yards from the back tees, with a 75.4 rating for the PGA Tour, and 6.895 yards from the blue tees with a 73.7 rating. Arnold Palmer fell in love with this place and in 1976 he bought the property to make this HIS club. You´ll find an excellent pro shop, a great practice area and multiple putting greens to practice at any time. You can open the window of your room in the lodge and walk onto a putting green.
Signature Hole
The 13th hole, a 356 yard par 4, the number 1 handicap in this course. A very beautiful short par 4 with a small green, with water surrounding most of it, with the front part of the green made of stone.
Wegolf Insider Tip
Spending a few days living in Palmer's house, playing one of the most emblematic courses on the PGA Tour, is an experience worth living.
