The proposal
The Latin American Championship's spirit is to give amateur golfers of all levels the opportunity to compete in an international tournament and also represent their country as a team. This fosters competitiveness among amateur golfers across different categories while prioritizing sportsmanship, the true amateur spirit, and the core values of the game. It transcends borders and promotes strong connections among golfers in the region.
In recent years, with Wegolf as the exclusive agency and the strong support of regional golf federations (such as the AAG in Argentina, the Federação Paulista in Brazil, and the Colombian Golf Federation), the Championship has experienced significant growth. Its latest editions have sold out, solidifying its reputation as THE EVENT that every competition-loving golfer wants to be part of. In its most recent edition (2024, Casa de Campo, Dominican Republic), over 90 amateur golfers from eight countries competed for the Nations Cup, forming teams with friends to represent their clubs while also testing their individual skills against the best in the continent.
The 2025 edition will take place in a new destination: Cartagena, Colombia. Participants will enjoy a 5-night stay at the Dreams Karibana Cartagena Golf & Spa Resort with an ALL-INCLUSIVE package and four rounds of golf at the Karibana Club.
If you want to compete at the highest level with golfers from all over Latin America, this tournament is for you. Book your spot now!
