Destination

South Africa is an ideal exotic destination for golfers

Like the vast majority of countries that were conquered by the English, South Africa is characterized by its great golfing tradition. It has almost 500 golf courses, some of them of great quality, such as Leopard Creek, The Links or Pinnacle Point. With a population close to 50 million inhabitants, it has around 150,000 golfers, including Gary Player, Ernie Els, Retief Goosen, Charl Schwartzel and Louis Oosthuizen.

Its National Open (first played in 1903) is one of the five oldest in the world. And it has the Extreme 19th, the longest and most spectacular par 3 in the world.

It has a large number of tourist activities: safari, beaches, urban life and panoramic views.

For all these factors, South Africa is in the Top 10 of the best destinations in the world of tourist golf, particularly during the winter of the northern hemisphere.

Victoria & Alfred Hotel

This 4-star hotel is located right on the V&A Waterfront promenade and features a sun terrace with a bar. It offers parking and free Wi-Fi. The rooms and lofts at the V&A Hotel overlook the Alfred Basin marina, Table Mountain, or the Piazza.
The surrounding area offers a variety of shops and entertainment venues, ranging from artisan markets to cinemas and amphitheaters. The hotel is just 250 meters from the Nelson Mandela Gateway to Robben Island.

The Golf

De Zalze Golf Club

Having hosted the Eisenhower Trophy and the Espirito Santo Trophy in October 2006, De Zalze Golf Club, located on the Kliene Zalze estate, situated in the heart of the famous Stellenbosch vineyards, known as 'Little Europe', its magnificent holes stretch over rolling terrain, meandering between grapes on the vine, fruit on the tree and a series of magnificent fountains. Renowned golf course architect Peter Matkovich has lent his name to the course, making the most of the stunning surroundings and prioritising precision. 

Arabella Golf Club

Arabella in Hermanus offers possibly one of the most beautiful golf settings in the Western Cape. Bordering the Bot River lagoon and overlooking the Kogelberg mountains covered in fynbos, this is truly a course designed to be played as much as admired.

Consistently ranked among the country’s top 10 courses by Golf Digest, it features a legendary 18th hole, a bucket-list 8th hole, tricky sand traps, and challenging water hazards, offering plenty for golfers of all skill levels.

Pinnacle Point Golf Club

This golf course is very similar to Kapalua in Hawaii, especially for his final hole.  It has incredible views of the Indian Ocean, par 3 with cliffs of more than 50m, a very good level of maintenance and a Club House with spectacular views.

The Links at Fancourt

It is a jewel of Gary Player within the Fancourt Resort, for whose construction almost 500,000 m3 of sand were moved and where the Presidents Cup was played in 2003.

It is perhaps the most spectacular golf course that can be played in South Africa not only for its design, but also for its maintenance at the level of the best private courses in the USA and its high quality of service. There are no flaws on this great golf course, which can deny a good score even to the very low handicap golfer.

From Cape Town to the charming Huguenot town of Franschhoek. Enjoy a visit to Babylonstoren Wine Farm. Continue to the Paarl wine region, you will visit the Spice Route to enjoy a selection of wine pairings and tastings. Start with a wine and charcuterie tasting, follow with a single-origin chocolate tasting and complete the experience with a grappa tasting at the Wilderer distillery. Instead of grappa, beer lovers will be able to see the facility, follow the entire production process, and then sample a wide variety of beers on tap or at tasting stations.

Terms and Conditions

Prices and Currency:
Prices are quoted in the "currency of origin," which is the currency determined by the final service providers at the destination.
Prices are subject to change until the service providers have confirmed and settled the reservations.
Prices may also change if the basis on which they were quoted is modified.

Price Lock-In:
The price in the "currency of origin" will be locked in upon payment of the deposit.

Payment Policy and Exchange Rate:
- Deposit or transfer to our current accounts in USD at Banco de Galicia (Argentina) or Banco Interaudi (USA).

- Cash payments will not be accepted to avoid acting as a withholding agent under AFIP Regulation RG3819/15. - "Solidarity Dollar" with card: With a 5% surcharge via a payment link through We Travel, this transaction includes an invoice. This allows us to process Argentine cards, which will settle the USD at the "official" exchange rate and the "solidarity tax" (30% surcharge) on the other hand, as per RG 4815.

- For conversion from GBP or Euros to USD, you must contact the office, which will confirm the selling exchange rate for the currency in question in the USA in writing. This exchange rate will be valid until 11:59 PM the following day. After that time, you will need to request the applicable exchange rate again.

Taxes
Prices are FINAL and include all taxes at both origin and destination (country where the service is provided).

The VAT credit available to the client for outbound trips is approximately 3% of the total invoice.

Reservations
A reservation is only considered confirmed upon payment of 50% of the service cost. The remaining 50% must be paid 60 days prior to the travel date. The amount will be considered "paid" only once it has been credited to Wegolf's account.

For reservations made less than 60 days in advance, full payment is required within 24 hours of the reservation request. Failure to meet this requirement will result in automatic cancellation of the reservation, the conditions described in the "Cancellations" section will apply, and no claims will be accepted.
Full or partial prepayment of reserved services implies acceptance of the general terms and conditions.

Cancellations without replacement: When a passenger who booked a trip confirms they will not attend, leaving their place vacant.
1-Up to 60 days before the arrival date: The client will lose 20% of the total agreed price.

2-Between 59 and 31 days before: The client will lose 40% of the total agreed price.

3-Within the final 30 days: The client will lose 100% of the total agreed price, and the agency may, at its discretion, allocate those spaces without being required to pay the client anything (whether they are filled by another client or not).

Cancellations with replacement: When the passenger who originally booked a trip confirms they will not attend but presents a third party who will take their place, the replacement will only be considered effective once the payments made by the replacement passenger have been credited. Until then, the company will retain the money collected from the original client.

1-Up to 60 days before: The original client will not be penalized, and the agency will refund 100% of the money received.

2- Between 59 and 31 days prior: The original client will lose 10% of the total agreed price.

3- Within the final 30 days: The original client will lose 20% of the total agreed price.

Important: It is a necessary condition for applying the "Cancellation WITH Replacement" policy that the replacement be provided by the original client. If the agency or a third party obtains the replacement, the fees charged to the original passenger will be those detailed in "Cancellations WITHOUT Replacement," and the original passenger will not be entitled to any subsequent claims.

Disclaimer of liability regarding the client's entry ban to the destination country: Wegolf declines all responsibility if foreign authorities deny the passenger a visa or if, for any other reason related to the passenger, foreign authorities do not allow their entry into the corresponding country. For Wegolf, this will be a case of "cancellation without replacement."

Itinerary Changes
The travel itinerary is confirmed upon booking and payment of 50%. During the period until the remaining balance is paid, changes to courses or accommodations can be made according to the conditions established by our suppliers. Within 30 days prior to the trip, any changes will incur an additional cost according to the individual conditions established by each provider. Wegolf is not responsible for cases in which the foreign supplier considers a "no-show."

Responsibilities

Wegolf has carefully selected its service providers, including hotels, golf courses, resorts, transportation, guides, and other services. However, since these are independent providers, Wegolf will not be liable for death, personal injury, or any other loss that may occur due to:
a) Any act or omission of any of these providers.

b) Any other event over which Wegolf has no control.

Wegolf is the golf division of DISCOVER ARGENTINA S.A., a Travel and Tourism Company approved by the Argentine National Tourism Secretariat, with EVT Registration Number 11364.
