Atlantic Dunes Golf Club
Atlantic Dunes by Davis Love III is a complete redesign of The Sea Pines Resort’s historic Ocean Course, the first course ever built on Hilton Head Island. Davis Love did a magnificent job with this reconstruction, bringing back the original sand dunes that defined the course for so many years, achieving a classic “Old School” design with his signature modern touch. A highly entertaining course and a true visual spectacle.
Heron Point by Pete Dye
- Also a Pete Dye design that was rebuilt in 2007. It has a maximum length of 7,035 yards, but each hole has seven tee-offs for different levels of play. There is a good distribution of long and short holes, and many of them pose risk-reward situations.
Harbour Town Golf Links
Harbor Town Golf Links is a spectacular course designed by Pete Dye and Jack Nicklaus, and annually hosts the RBC Heritage in the week following the Masters. In 2010 Golf Digest ranked it as the #13 course in the USA and the tour players chose it as the 2nd best course on Tour. This design, which inspired the creation of TPC Sawgrass, is located within the Sea Pines Resort, on the island of Hilton Head, and is characterized by requiring great precision due to its narrow fairways, intimidating bunkers, and crossed hazards
