The Golf
Praia d´El Rey Golf & Beach Resort
Located close to the medieval town of Obidos, on the Portuguese silver coast, and adjacent to the Berlengas Island nature reserve, the course designed by the American architect Cabell Robinson combines the characteristics of a links style with those of a classic parkland. The green of the fairways contrasts with the conifers and natural sand dunes, in a course that seems to have always been there
Royal Óbidos Golf Course
Designed by the legendary Severiano Ballesteros -who never played it after it was inaugurated- the Royal Óbidos golf course is located within a complex with a 5-star hotel and spa. With wide fairways, variations in height, and both greens and bunkers with a good surface, it presents a good challenge since its length, added to the constant wind, makes it a tough challenge.
West Cliffs
- A world class 18-hole seaside links golf course alongside the silver coast, designed by Cinthia Dye daughter of Golf Course Architect Roy Anderson Dye and niece to Pete Dye. Sea views, rolling sand dunes and coastal vegetation. This golf course requires mastering the constant wind gusts and precision.
- One of the most awarded golf courses in Portugal and considered among the best courses created in the past 10 years.

For such a small country, Portugal packs a lot! Home to palaces, cathedrals, beaches and history, Portugal is great destination. Combine your golf trip with: the beach, deep-sea fishing, and do not miss Lisbon and Cascais.
¿Thinking about more golf?
Óbidos can be complemented with the Algarve region (about a 3-hour drive from Óbidos) or with Terras da Comporta, a place with two very good golf courses just 1 hour from Lisbon or 2 hours from Óbidos. Both destinations can be added either before or after the main trip. Both destinations are also economically accessible.
Thinking about playing more golf: Seville, Cádiz, Marbella and Sotogrande in Spain are just a couple hours away by car.

Cancellation Policy: From booking until July 1: 20%* retained; from July 2 to July 9: 40%* retained; from July 10 onward or no-show: 100%*.
