Description

Just outside Phoenix, Jay Morrish and Tom Weiskopf sculpted the Sonoran Desert to bring to life TPC Scottsdale's public courses: Stadium Course and Champion Course. Home of the famous Waste Management Phoenix Open, known as the “Fans Open,” the Stadium Course has the distinction of being both a fan-friendly course and also highly praised by professionals.

Signature Hole

The 16th hole is a 163-yard par 3, with a wide green defended by 4 bunkers. Although it does not stand out for its design, it is one of the most popular holes since the famous “Colosseum” is set up there once a year, witness to some of the best moments of the PGA Tour.

Wegolf Insider Tip

When you get to the 16th tee box, imagine yourself surrounded by 20,000 people chanting your name or even booing a bad shot. A unique sensation!

The good, The Bad

A friendly course, permissive, and in a desert environment with mountains in its background.
Memorability won't probably be its main asset, but it's well worth knowing.
