Description
Tortugas is one of those classic courses in Buenos Aires with a lot of history and who has produced great national champions. Although it has upgraded their greens to USGA Specs, some might consider it boring with many holes similar to each other. But all the same it is a very good golf course, fun to play, very well mantained and with many good holes like dogleg 4th, the tough 9th with OB on the left, the reachable 10th, the great par 3 13th and the famous 17th with OB all along the left side and water on the right.
Signature Hole
Hole 17 / Par 4 / 420yds:
A demanding tee shot over water (also on the right side) and with OB on the left makes it one of the toughest in Argentina, slightly uphill for the second shot to a green that breaks from back to front. A good tee shot has great part of the problem solved.
Wegolf Insider Tip
Tortugas is a course we have played many times and hosted many events and the truth is that it is tough to have a bad day there. Jose his long time MasteCaddie is a great guy and a very well mantained course will do the rest. It's very good access from downtown makes it one of the best alternatives for one golf day.
