Description
Between St Augustine and Jacksonville, the residential complex of St Johns offers an 18-hole golf course designed in the middle of a coniferous forest, between lagoons and wetlands. Clyde Johnston's design can be somewhere between accessible and demanding, depending on how the wind blows. The fairways are surrounded by trees throughout their whole length, and their wide greens defended by strategically positioned bunkers.
Signature Hole
Hole 4 is the shortest par 4 on the course. With only 382 yards from the pros' tee box, it puts the game at risk with a water hazard all over the right side, which covers up to the front of the green and intimidates on its approach shot.
Wegolf Insider Tip
Practice your short game on the putting green before your round, as the greens of the course are very fast!
