Description

Considered one of the best courses in the US, originally designed by George Cobb and later restaured by Arnold Palmer and Tom Fazio, the club is surprisingly similar to Augusta National GC. The natural unevenness of the terrain, the size and speed of its greens, and its level of maintenance make it stand out above the rest. Home to the Presidents Cup, the PGA Championship, and the Wells Fargo Championship, Quail Hollow is both an attractive as challenging course.

Signature Hole

While the 17th par 3 is a very scenic hole, the 18th is a 494-yard par 4 that plays uphill along a meandering stream that runs from the tee box to green.

Wegolf Insider Tip

We got to visit the course in the last Presidents Cup held at Quail Hollow, and our impression was really great. The Champions Park offers an amphitheater with a bar, giant TV, and the plaques of all the great champions. A great place to rest and have something to eat and drink.

The good, The Bad

Exceptional course design, maintenance, and facilities.
A club as private and exclusive as Augusta National itself.
