Description
Punta Blanca is Nick Price's first golf course in the Caribbean and the former world number 1 went to great lengths to make his mark. The course is very competitive, standing out the par 3s of 13 and 15 in the shape of an island surrounded by swamps and the typical cana palms that predominate in the Dominican Republic. Signature Hole
15th Hole / Par 3 / 180 yards:
The 13th and 15th: two medium distance par 3s with their island green surrounded by swamps. Throughout the year there is usually a crosswind in favor of both, but they are also two shots that require a lot of precision and in which failure has no recovery.
Wegolf Insider Tip
The course must be played with a lot of patience: although it is not easy, birdies can appear, especially on holes 4-7-8-9-10-12. 17 is a par 5 in which you don't get there in 2 and an intelligent second shot can give you the chance for a last birdie to get oxygen to the difficult 18th hole, where the tee shot is key.
