Description
The Puntacana Resort & Club has two golf courses and a total of 45 holes. The La Cana course is made up of 27 holes configured as three independent loops of 9 each: Tortuga, Hacienda, and Arrecife. The design of Pete Dye's youngest son, Paul Burke, has 14 holes overlooking the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean Sea. Numerous bunkers, waste areas, and blind shots make up this entertaining course in a privileged location.
Signature Hole
The final hole is a 533-yard par 5 with similarities to the 18th hole at Pebble Beach: water on the left margin for its entire length, enviable naturalness and landscape, and very photogenic.
