Description
The combination of a great terrain, along with the work of Coore & Crenshaw, results in a challenging, strategic, and entertaining design. This large course located on the northwest coast of Maui features dramatic elevation changes and views of the mountains and the Pacific Ocean. Wide fairways are balanced by length, and generally descending slopes are helpful on shots to the green. Ravines, hills, and areas of dense vegetation on the banks complete a unique setting.
Signature Hole
While the 5th is a nice hole, the 18th hole is a great way to close the round. The 677-yard par 5 has a wide downhill fairway tee shot, and then it twists, putting into play a penalty zone all along the left edge, provoking many championships to be decided on the last shot.
Wegolf Insider Tip
Don't hesitate to ask for a golf cart, since some holes are far from each other, and the undulating terrain is hard work to walk!
