Description
Island Course (1970) was the Resort's first course and offers picturesque views, narrow fairways, intimidating water hazards, strategic bunkers and a natural uneven terrain unique in Florida (here's the 2nd highest point in Florida: Pinellas). Everyone agrees that Island is as demanding or even more than Copperhead, explainnig why it has hosted the US Open Qualis, NCAA Championships, and is ranked by Golf Digest among the 50 best tourist courses in the USA.
Signature Hole
The tee shot requires precision, a very narrow fairway, with a second to the island green. an incredible hole

Being so close to the Copperhead Course takes away from it a bit of the limelight and shine
