Description
The course that is part of the hotel complex was designed by PB Dye, and although it is close to the sea, it is not a coastal course. It combines blind shots, open fairways, and narrower sections. Unusual for fields in the area, it has the particularity of elevation changes that generate attraction, as well as stones arranged as a tribute to the ancient Mayan civilization.
Signature Hole
Hole 9 is a 427-yard par 4 in which the tee shot must cross over a "bed" of natural rocks onto the fairway. The shot to the green has the particularity of being visually framed by the Iberostar complex that imitates the Chichen Itzá pyramid.

The height variations add an interesting feature to the course.
It should not be underestimated by the fact it is not a seaside course.
