Description

The gated community of Heritage Plantation features over 500 residential lots and its own marina. Its 250 acres feature a golf course surrounded by wetlands, lakes, and mature oak trees that make it a true hidden gem of Myrtle Beach. Dan Maples' design respects the natural contour of the land and its flora, incorporating wildflowers, camellias, and azaleas into the layout in an attractive landscaping treatment.

Signature Hole

Hole 13 is a 175-yard par 3 that requires flying over the water to reach its green, which, by the way, is classified as the resting place of elephants, since several steep hills will not make putts easy.

Wegolf Insider Tip

In addition to visiting the classic colonial style clubhouse, tour the neighborhood to take in all its beauty.

The good, The Bad

Ranked among the 50 best public courses in the USA.
Although not so well known and far from the sea, definitely a course to add to the bucket list.
