Description
In 1908, the idea of building a hotel for wealthy people in central Scotland emerged. The complex features three courses, with King's being the main course, designed by James Braid. Set back from the coast and on undulating terrain, the course takes advantage of each of the characteristics and adapts them naturally to the course.
Signature Hole
The 13th hole is a 414-yard par 4 named after the course designer, "Braid's Bastion." It plays from an elevated tee to a fairway that descends through a valley between hills. It offers panoramic views and a strategic challenge.

Although it's not a links course, its quite a different experience in Scotland, so highly recommended.
An expensive option unless you get a convenient package.
