Description
Place of former military fortifications and even an area used for practice exercises prior to the Normandy landings, Dundonald Links sets itself as a course from the past. The modern-style links near the Irish Sea has wide fairways, well-designed greens, and hazards that are not quite penalizing.
Signature Hole
The shortest hole on the course is one of the most memorable. The 120-yard par 3 on the 11th hole is a short approach, but requires precision. The green has 3 bunkers on its front, and the shot must fly over thick rough with bushes.
Wegolf Insider Tip
In 2021 Dundonald inaugurated a lodge on the course, with all the necessary comforts for a great stay enjoying golf in the area.
