Located 10 minutes from Inverness, "The Gate to the Highlands", the course is on a perfect plot right next to the sea and has excellent maintenance, creativity and variety in design, an elevated Club House with incredible views and a demanding course but not extremely penalizing served by a staff trained to provide a 6-star service. It is a very fun course with par 5 "reachable", it has 2 par 4 that allow you to drive to the green, and par 3 that range from 120 to 210 yards. Hole 4 is played with the famous "Castle Stuart" in the background, which gives the name to this layout whose final holes are among the most colorful in the United Kingdom.

Signature Hole
The par 5 of the 18 can be reached in 2 shots to the green, which tempts players in definition stages. Its green is also so big that if the ball is not close, it will be a challenge not to make 3 putts. In his short career he has received 4 Scottish Opens, one of them won by Mickelson in 2013, the week before he won the Claret Jug in Muirfield.
