Description
In the heart of the seaside city of Punta del Este, the exclusive social and sports club of Cantegril is regularly visited by the most outstanding personalities. Engineer Luther Koontz's design takes place on a terrain with a large central hollow and occasional minor undulations, causing blind shots and the need to hit shots in various stances. Out of bounds are present in almost all holes, forcing the player to maintain full concentration.
Signature Hole
Hole 2 is a 387-yard par 4 with a water hazard in middle of a fairway that climbs from the center towards the green; behind it, an abandoned lighthouse-shaped building creates an incredible surrounding.
