Description
Bandon Dunes is the first courses opened in the Resort with many touches from Scottish Courses and some spectacular holes in front of the Ocean. Very sloped greens with very good speed require a finesse touch around them. Holes play in all directions so there is not a prevailing wind that will make the course tougher. It is not long, but yes very creative and with a lot of bump and run shots needed including approach shots to the greens.
Signature Hole
Hole 16 / Par 4 / 363yds:
A jewel paralel to the coast, with a forced carry over the cliff where long hitters will be able to get home with the tee shot. The green complex is one of the most spectacular spots on the course.
Wegolf Insider Tip
Bandon Dunes is maybe the most fun of the 4 big courses, with a fantastic routing and holes playing in all directions. It has maybe the better views and the greens will test golfers character every single hole. It isn't long, but a challenge to even the most skilled golfers.
