Description

Augusta Country Club is the course next to Augusta National, and at the time the only one that had two courses designed by Seth Raynor and Donald Ross. Today it only has the second, developed on similar terrain to its neighbor, and even sharing Raes Creek (from the 12th hole at Augusta). From its holes you can see part of Augusta National and even hear the roar of the audience during Masters week.

Signature Hole

Hole 8 is a downhill par 5 of almost 600 yards, with an approach shot that must cross the Raes Creek and is framed by the characteristic coniferous of the area.

Wegolf Insider Tip

Enjoy a good lunch on the terrace admiring the course, and visit the proshop and the clubhouse with its great history.

The good, The Bad

Although it is usually in the shadows of its neighboring course Augusta CC, it is one of the best golf courses in Georgia.
