Golf

PGA National - The Champion Course

  • This famous and emblematic course has wide fairways and Tifeagle greens. Its demanding layout permanently demands challenging shots, and that's why it turns out to be a difficult stop for the best PGA Tour Pros during the Honda Classic. Especially in the dangerous "bear trap", which is how the 3-hole straight from 15 to 17 is known. For all this, the Champion is a "must" that attracts thousands of golfers every year.
Dye Preserve

Dye Preserve

  • Originally called Cypress Links when opened in 1988, the course was later renovated by Pete Dye in 2002, when the goal was to make it more popular and attractive to golfers. There's an abundance of exotic wildlife, like the club's iconic osprey, found in the ponds, lakes, and wetlands you'll find in the country.
The Bear’s Club

The Bear’s Club

At The Bear's Club Nicklaus expertly transformed the native environment with its exacting design standards. The result is an 18-hole championship course with a gently rolling 7,164-yard layout that spans a property rich in native vegetation, old oak, pine, cypress, and wetland areas. It has 102 bunkers aesthetically and strategically located throughout the field along with a collection of undulating greens that requires precision and concentration.

Bay Hill Champion Course

  •  In 1961 the 18 holes are completed and in 1965 Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus were invited for the inauguration where the King fell in love with the course and later, in 1976, bought the club and made it its operations center. Today Bay Hill is the permanent venue for the Arnold Palmer Invitational, bringing together the best players on the PGA Tour. A great course, one of the most difficult on the Tour with 2 very long par 3 to finish the round (14 and 17). Always in immaculate condition and with the fresh image of the Arnold Palmer Invitational tournament
Panther Lake – Orange County National

Panther Lake – Orange County National

Panther Lake has hosted the PGA TOUR final qualifying stage since 2003 and since 1999 has been awarded 4.5 stars by Golf Digest magazine in the “Places to Play” section every year. The 7,350-yard course integrates large hills and level changes of more than 20 meters that go through large oaks, orange groves, pine forests and large lakes that line 13 holes of the course, offering spectacular views. The conditions to play the course are perfect throughout the year.

Isleworth

Isleworth

Constantly ranked among the best golf courses in the country, Isleworth was the brainchild of Arnold Palmer and then renovated by Steve Smyers in 2003. Designed to provide a fair but challenging round, the signature course is built on uneven terrain, with Generous, undulating and fast greens, highlighted by the most picturesque settings.

Accommodation

PGA National Resort & Spa

PGA National Resort & Spa

  • This luxurious Resort & Spa located in Palm Beach Gardens -70 mins north of Miami- offers excellent facilities and great service. The complex offers five first-class courses designed by prestigious architects. The most famous is the Champion Course where the Honda Classic is played, one of the annual stops on the PGA Tour in Florida. In addition, among its outstanding amenities we can mention its complete European spa, a golf academy and 19 tennis courts. A hallmark of the resort is its salty mineral water pools.
Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club & Lodge

Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club & Lodge

  • This warm and intimate Orlando Lodge is located a few kilometers from Disney World and has a renowned 27-hole professional golf course, adding rooms, spa, Olympic pool and 3 restaurants. This place is magical and special: it doesn't look like a hotel. It is more like living in a club or a family home ... the home of the great Arnie and his family.

Other things to do

"The Parks" Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando Resort are the great attraction of this place in the middle of Florida with no sea coast, which in the 1960s had almost no population and today receives 50 million tourists per year (It is the fifth most visited city in the USA) and where only Disney occupies more than 100 square kilometers and employs 75 thousand people.

For golfers and companions it is a great shopping place, with all kinds of malls and its PGA Superstore. It is highly recommended to combine it with more golf in Miami, Palm Beach, Port St Lucie or TPC Sawgrass.
